Is the AI voice generator free?
Yes. The free plan gives you 200 credits a month (up to 50 a day in this tool), which is about 7 minutes of Studio-quality voice. Free scripts can be up to 5,000 characters.
Which languages and accents does it speak?
Hindi (in Devanagari or Roman script), Hinglish and English, and 22 more languages: Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Urdu, Odia and Nepali, plus Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Turkish. How do I make a story with different voices?
Open Story mode and write each line as Name: what they say. Everyone in the script becomes part of the cast with their own character voice β up to 10 voices, the narrator included. Add Sound:, Music: or Ambience: lines for effects, and a blank line for a scene pause.
Can I add sound effects and background music?
Yes. Story mode has 104 sound effects, 66 ambience loops and 20 music tracks that cost nothing to use. Add sounds with AI places them for you for 8 credits per 3,000 characters.
How does story to video work?
After you make a story, the tool plans the scenes from its timings and writes a picture prompt for each one. You make the pictures in your own image tool, such as Google Flow or ChatGPT, upload them, and the tool arranges them and makes an MP4 with subtitles in your browser. Effects follow the story: lightning lands on the thunder, the ambience brings fog, fireflies or falling petals, the music sets the colours, and the camera follows the acting. Videos come out in Full HD 1080p, or in 4K with Pro on a laptop or computer.
Can I download the story video in 4K?
Yes, with Pro on a laptop or computer. Before you make the video, choose β¨ 4K under Quality; it works for videos up to 15 minutes long, counted at the speed you pick (10 minutes on a computer with under 8 GB of memory). Phones, tablets and the Free plan make Full HD 1080p. Making the video costs no credits either way, and YouTube plays 4K uploads in sharper quality, even on phones.
Do the video effects flash?
Lightning, bangs and flickers never flash more than 3 times in any second, even at 1.5Γ speed β a dip to black between scenes counts too. That is the limit the WCAG accessibility guidelines set to protect viewers with photosensitive epilepsy. When sounds come too close together, the extra ones glow or dim softly instead of flashing. For a calmer video, choose Gentle strength or switch the effects off.

The tool is made for YouTube voiceovers, Shorts, Reels and story channels. You download plain MP3, WAV or MP4 files, with no logo and no audible watermark.
How long can a script be?
Up to 5,000 characters on the free plan and 20,000 on Pro and Business. A story can have up to 10 voices, the narrator included. On the free plan a story can have up to 20 lines; the π¬ Story Director writes free stories of about 12 lines, so you can write one and voice it the same day.
Where do my scripts and pictures go?
Your script goes to Tooljin's servers and to Google's Gemini AI, which makes the voices and runs the AI steps (β¨ AI Direct, β¨ Format, β¨ Add sounds, π¬ Story Director, π Check, π / π» funnier or scarier, the scene plan, the video prompts and the YouTube pack). Drafts and your last 20 results are saved in your own browser, and videos are put together on your device. Your pictures stay on your device unless you use β¨ Arrange with AI or β¨ Fit to the story with AI: then small previews of them, and the first frame of each video clip, are sent to Google's Gemini AI to match them to your story.
